An Alaba marketer told Entervaganza that its failure to be released might be due to the fact that the anticipation and demand for it is not as massive as expected. The marketer rated anticipation and demand for the album as ‘average at best’ when compared to the anticipation and demand for Wizkid’s debut, Super Star, or Wande Coal’s debut, Mushin 2 Mo’ Hits.

Chocolate City rapper Ice Prince the Aboki is seriously making concrete plans to start up a child foundation after the release of his second album “Fire Of Zamani”. Efforts to raise the $100,000 needed to carry out a kidney transplant for ailing singer and producer OJB Jezreel has suffered a setback as govt officials who had earlier made financial pledges have withdrawn all support to save OJB’s life. Nomoreloss who heads the fund raising committee announced via social networking site twitter that the officials withdrew following misinformation on the exact amount already raised for OJB’s treatment. Yesterday, stories had emerged on blogs and social networks that D’banj, Wizkid, Tuface had all donated 7m, 3m and 1.5 million naira respectively. Nomoreloss calls these stories false and has even asked D’banj to clear the air.

Justice Mohammed Idris of  the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has fixed  October 16, 2013 for the commencement of trial in a N120 million copyright suit filed against popular music  star, Innocent Idibia, a.k.a. TuFace, his wife, Annie Idibia and their manager, Anthonio Anifite over  photographs allegedly taken at the recent traditional wedding of the musician and his wife in Akwa Ibom State. Abuja based photographer, Emmanuel Okolo, who is the plaintiff in the suit alongside his studio, Papilonmexy  filed suit against the defendants.   Popular producer, OJB Jezreel recently granted an interview to the Encomium, a soft sell magazine revealing that he has about eight weeks left to get his operation done. OJB, who is suffering from a kidney condition is soliciting for money to enable him travel out of the country for a kidney transplant which is expected to save his life. He did it quietly a few days back but when I found out, well, I just had to share it.
